Conference Policies

Where we are

The University rooms in which the Conference will be held are located mainly at  Contrada S. Chiara 50. By plane - Airport of BERGAMO ORIO AL SERIO (http://www.sacbo.it) - Airport of VERONA VILLAFRANCA (http://www.aeroportoverona.it) Shuttle to the railway station (Verona Porta Nuova) and then take the train to Brescia. Shuttle service connecting two ways the airport and the railway station of Verona Porta Nuova every 20 minutes from 06.35 to 23.35 (AEROBUS www.atv.verona.it). A wide choice of trains connecting Verona Porta Nuova to Brescia (see the timetable on www.trenitalia.it). - Airport of MILANO LINATE (http://www.sea-aeroportimilano.it) Shuttle to the railway station (Milano Centrale) and then take the train to Brescia: Shuttle service connecting two ways the airport and the railway station of Milano Centrale every 30 minutes (STARFLY www.starfly.net and ATM www.atm.it). A wide choice of trains connecting Milano Centrale to Brescia (see the timetable on www.trenitalia.it). - Airport of MILANO MALPENSA (http://www.sea-aeroportimilano.it) Train service to the railway station (Milano Centrale) and then take the train to Brescia. Train service connecting two ways the airport and the railway station of Milano Centrale (MALPENSA EXPRESS http://www.malpensaexpress.it/). The connection is with Malpensa Terminal 1, if your Terminal is 2 there are connections between the two terminals using a free shuttle service. A wide choice of trains connecting Milano Centrale to Brescia (see the timetable on www.trenitalia.it).By train Outside the railway station, you can choose one of the following services: - Cab The cab station is just outside the railway station. - Bus #2 Outside the railway station, get to the stazione portici bus stop. Catch the #2 bus towards “Pendolina” and get off at Leonardo da Vinci, 36. Cross the street onto via S. Faustino and then follow the Conference signal. - Bus #7 Outside the railway station, on the left, catch the #7 bus towards “Caino/Nave” and get off at the Piazza C. Battisti stop. Cross the street onto via S. Faustino and then follow the Conference signal.- MetroThe Metro station is just outside the railway station, on the right. Catch the train direction "Prealpino" and get off at "San Faustino" Station. Cross the street onto via S. Faustino and then follow the Conference signal. By car It is important to note that, the lines below explain how drive to the University premises, but considering that parking is not allowed, you are invited to read the car park section. To those driving to Brescia using Autostrada A4 it is suggested to use the following toll gates: - Brescia Ovest It is the best choice for those driving from Milan. Outside the toll gate, merge onto tangenziale Ovest (ringroad) up to tangenziale Nord until you get to the Ponte Mella - Via Milano exit. Drive all the way through Via Milano to Piazza Garibaldi, then turn left. Go all the way to Via Calatafimi and Via Lupi di Toscana and turn right onto Via S. Pellico. Drive all the way through Via S. Pellico and turn right onto Via S. Faustino. - Brescia Centro It is the best choice for those driving from Verona. Outside the toll gate, follow the signs for Val Trompia, Milano or Bergamo onto tangenziale Sud (ringroad) until you get to the tangenziale Ovest/Val Trompia exit. Merge onto tangenziale Ovest (ringroad) up to tangenziale Nord until you get to Ponte Mella - Via Milano exit. Drive all the way through Via Milano to Piazza Garibaldi, then turn left. Go all the way to Via Calatafimi and Via Lupi di Toscana and turn right onto Via S. Pellico. Drive all the way through Via S. Pellico and turn right onto Via S. Faustino. Urban road Outside the toll gate, take the first exit at the roundabout. Go past another roundabout and take the third exit at the following roundabout. Turn right onto Viale Duca degli Abruzzi. After about two kilometers, take the second exit at the roundabout and turn right at the traffic lights onto Viale Duca d’Aosta. At the roundabout take the fourth exit onto Via Mantova and then go through another roundabout and the traffic lights. Keep right at the fork up to the traffic light and drive all the way through via Turati. Keep left at the fork onto via Pusterla past two traffic lights. At the third light, turn left onto via San Faustino.Car parks You can use one of the following car parks: - Parcheggio Fossa Bagni (open 7:30-24:00) Accessible at via Lombroso. - Parcheggio Piazza Vittoria (open 24/7) This car park is located below Vittoria Square, less than ten minutes’ walk from the University premises. - Parcheggio Randaccio (Open 7:30-24:00) It can be accessed from via Lupi di Toscana, 4. You can walk to the University premises in just a few minutes, going all the way through Contrada del Carmine up to Via S. Faustino.
