Submission guidelines

  • Papers must be written in English, according with SIS technical standards. Follow these links for the current standards: Word or LaTeX. Papers to be presented in specialized sessions must not exceed 10 pages. All the other papers (solicited and contributed) must not exceed 6 pages. All submissions, except invited talks, are subject to a blind refereeing process.
  • The papers must exclusively be sent using the on-line system available at this site.
  • Accepted papers can be exposed in an oral or poster presentation.
  • Posters must be written according to technical standards defined by the Organizing Committee (dimensions will be comunicated later).




Registration / Conference fees for Conference ONLY

  • Registration to the conference must be made online form.
  • The contributed papers will be included in the final program only if the registration fee has been paid within May 10, 2014.
  • Regular SIS Full Members and SIS Correspondant associate,  who pay fee of this conference, are not required to pay the membership fee of year 2014 (to join the SIS: for other please contact
  • Payments from this web site are only possible for conference registration and must be provided to the SIS society.
  • All queries about registration to the SIS Conference should be addressed to Segreteria SIS:
  • REGISTRATION and PAYMENTS for SOCIAL EVENTS are handled separately by Corsi & Congressi.
